Stage and product presentation
The transparent envelope can form a scenic volume around a performance or reveal an object from different viewpoints. Candide at Lyon Opera and the Peugeot 408 at the Paris Motor Show show these distinct uses. Dimensions, access and the surrounding installation are assessed for each brief.
Clear or tinted PVC
Clear PVC keeps the subject visible; tinted transparent PVC can be considered when colour is part of the design. The material reference, seams and openings are selected around the object, light and viewing angles.
Floor placement, suspension and outdoor use
The envelope may be placed on the floor or suspended, depending on its design. Rigging points, loads, access and the installation sequence must be agreed.
