From brief to installation
A complete workshop approach.
Diameter, projector positions and viewing distance are studied together. The membrane and inflation system are selected for image consistency and installation.
Specify the image and the surface together
Clear or white PVC is selected for the proposed projection arrangement. Diameter, projector throw, positions, viewing angles and ambient light must be considered together. Share the media concept and equipment plan so seams, inflation and the visual effect can be assessed.
A spherical projection brief
The Le Bon Marché reference shows imagery on an inflatable sphere. A curved volume needs its own content and projection study; flat screen fabric and complete projection screens remain a separate offer.
Mounting and installation
Send the desired diameter, placement and projection concept together with the available mounting points and venue plans. Surface selection, seams, inflation and installation are assessed for the proposed equipment and viewing conditions. A finished specification follows the project study.
Image coverage and audiovisual responsibilities
Wider image coverage may require several projectors and coordinated mapping. The audiovisual team develops the video content and projection arrangement; the workshop studies the envelope and surface with that team. Projectors and content production are not assumed to be included in the sphere fabrication.
