How long does a custom inflatable take to make?
A practical production timeline from brief and design approval to fabrication, testing, packing and installation.

01
Brief and feasibility
The process begins with the purpose, dimensions, venue, dates and expected finish. Early access to artwork, plans and technical constraints avoids preventable revisions.
02
Design and approval
Drawings, proportions, materials, graphic files and technical principles are confirmed before production. Complex forms may require a model or prototype.
03
Fabrication and marking
Pattern making, cutting, welding or sewing, printing, painting and equipment integration are scheduled in the correct order. Availability of specific membranes can affect timing.
04
Testing and delivery
The finished object is inflated, inspected and packed before dispatch. Installation time, international transport and venue approvals must be added to the workshop schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Plan with confidence.
Can an urgent inflatable be produced?+
Sometimes, depending on complexity, workshop capacity, material availability and the speed of approvals. Simplifying the finish or geometry may help.
What usually delays a project?+
Late dimensions, changing artwork, incomplete venue information and delayed approvals are the most common causes.
When should the venue be assessed?+
As early as possible, especially for suspension, outdoor use, restricted access or public installations.
